Deb has been working with Access since August 2009 (formerly serving as Program Director), and became Access’ Executive Director in February 2012. Deb is a longstanding volunteer in Garfield County, and has lived in the county for over 60 years. In support of her substantial contributions to youth and families in the region, Deb was awarded with the 2012 Garfield County Humanitarian Service Award, a significant honor. Her love for children and education has brought her to her current position at Access. One of her favorite quotes is “it takes a village to raise a child.” Born and raised in Garfield County, Deb has firsthand experience of being raised by this “village” and now returns the gift through her work today.
