Access

BoostCamp is one of the only summer camps in the area, and serves as a vital resource for local families. Each year, Access operates BoostCamp: a full-day, summer time program for youth in grades 1 - 5 most often located at Rifle Middle School. The program includes activities designed to promote literacy, science skills, math skills, physical fitness, and creativity. A typical week sees students attending academics in the morning and enrichment classes in the afternoon. Every week ends with a field trip. This fast pace program fills up quickly. Many families miss out on attending BoostCamp and we are hopeful that those that register only do so if they believe their child can attend most days and can meet behavior requirements. It is very important to note that families must sign a behavior and attendance policy before registering. This assures all students are safe and able to participate in a similar but much faster pace and structure school like experience.

BoostCamp 2026 will begin advertising around Spring Break 2026!
The overarching goals of BoostCamp are to ensure participants:

-
Are engaged in high-quality programming in a safe and healthy environment
-
Have the support they need to enter the upcoming school year prepared for success
-
Have opportunities to build positive relationships with fellow students, adult mentors and community leaders, such as hospital, police and fire protection personnel.

100% of participants’ parents reported that their child looked forward to going to BoostCamp and 100% of parents said they were satisfied or very satisfied with the program. One parent said, “What an amazing program! We are so blessed to have this opportunity in the valley for our children.”
We have also recently introduced the BoostCamp mentorship program for students entering 6th or 7th grade. Aspiring mentors can showcase their leadership abilities by applying for one of five scholarship spots at BoostCamp, where they will take on responsibilities that prepare them for real-world challenges. This opportunity also enables them to forge connections and inspire the next generation by sharing their skills and becoming role models for younger students.
