Your contribution to Access AfterSchool truly makes a difference!

Studies show that even as little as $1 donated actually helps save taxpayers approximately $3. Investing in after school programs have been proven to decrease juvenile delinquency, improve school performance, and increase worker productivity.

Together we can enrich the lives of youth, support working families, and build healthy communities in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys.

THANK YOU!

The Access AfterSchool team extends our sincere thanks for your ongoing support.  As parents, community members, donors, and supporters, you've helped the Access community shine!

A tenet of all of Access AfterSchool’s programs is that students are actively engaged in the program by learning and doing.

One of the seven 21st Century skills that instructors are trained to weave into their course curriculum is Health Literacy, which embraces an active lifestyle, helps students learn to make healthy choices and builds self-confidence. 87% of participants say that because of SecondShift they make healthier choices, and 85% report being more active.

Students are engaged in high-quality programming that teaches them new skills:   96% of participants say that SecondShift is their favorite part of being at school and 98% report that SecondShift always engages them in interesting activities.

In fact, over 57% of all parents say that the opportunities to learn and apply new skills and be creative are the most important parts of SecondShift.

Students are more prepared for college and career success: 90% report getting better at setting and achieving goals, 80% say SecondShift helped them explore what they want to be when they grow up, and 93% noted increased perseverance and grit as a result of attending SecondShift, which has been identified as a critical factor to school and life success.

91% say that going to SecondShift has helped them feel happier about what their future looks like.
